Evernote - Clip and Sync Everything You Find

Monday, May 5th, 2008

Evernote just released an iphone optimized version of their beta web clipping site. I have nine invites left. If anyone wants one, please email me lifeofjim at gmail (first come, first serve).

I have been using evernote to clip (think bookmarking and tagging, but 2.0) via my iphone on the safari mobile browser by way of the bookmarklet. If you don’t know me, I like to try things out pre-beta, especially new social media web apps.

Here is a quick breakdown via video of what evernote is all about:

Why I use Evernote:

1. To clip content I want to aggregate, save for later, read offline, share with others, and mash-up to produce new content. I can then read articles, etc. offline during downtime, much like Rubel does.

2. To use it to pull text from pictures via the desktop application.
